On the itunes pages it now says”we’re aware of the crashes and will update”, so maybe that’s why they pulled it in the first place..

iPhone 3GS. I note today someone in the Finger Sling reviews on the app store saying it’s no longer working on iPad.

I’ve rebooted a couple of times. Will have to try deleting and reinstalling it from iTunes later. I’d assumed it was a problem with the update, but perhaps not if you’re able to get it working

Have you tried all the usual stuff like rebooting? It works fine for me on both my iPhone 4 and 3rd-gen iPod Touch.

This is one of my most played iPhone games since your original recommendation. I’m reminded of E-Motion, only without the frustration. That said, it steadfastly refuses to load since the update.
